Biography

Larry started his musical career at the early age of  ten years old, demonstrating Lowery Organs at County Fairs, Modern Living Expos, etc. in his home town of  Erie, PA .  As a music prodigy, by his early teens he had worked in dance bands, his own combo, and many solo engagements, throughout the Tri-State area of OH, PA, NY.
Experience in Liturgical Music started at the age of twelve years old, playing a thirty-two rank Tellers Pipe Organ for the 12:15 Sunday Mass at Saint Peters Cathedral in Erie, a position which continued through his high school years at Cathedral Preparatory School.
After High School Larry accepted a position at Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Church as Organist and Choir Director working closely with the Head of Worship for the Diocese of Erie. St. Patrick's served as a Prototype Church in the transitioning from traditional to a more contemporary service. Also teaching levels one through eight in the Elementary School, he remained there for about five years. He continued his liturgical service in two of the area's Presbyterian Churches: Harborcreek First Presbyterian and Perkins, NKA New Hope Presbyterian Church as Choir Director, Organist and Youth Group Director for about three more years.
In his early twenties Larry attended Mercyhurst College majoring in Music Performance and accepted a position as Conductor for their Theater Department as well as Conductor for the Theater Department at Gannon University where he continued his education in Communications.  Television and Theater played a big role in Larry's career having conducted over thirty-five classic musicals such as: Mame, Hello Dolly, Man of La Mancha, Fiddler on The Roof, Promises, Promises  Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pippin, 1776, Sweet Charity, and Anything Goes, to name a few, in Dinner, Community and Equity Theaters throughout the Tri-state area of PA, OH and MI.

Larry moved to Florida  28 years ago, and has been performing constantly in the area since.  Playing in many of the areas Private Country Clubs and Public Night Clubs.  Conducting still comes into play, having worked with many "Name Celebrities" such as: Dick Van Dyke, Edie Adams, Linda Lavin, Robert Loggia, Stella Stevens, Jonathan Winters, Lyle Waggoner, Barry Williams, Jack Jones, Lee Meriwether, Jerry Van Dyke, Dick Van Patten, Gavin McLeod, Barbara McNair, Victor Buono, Barbie Benton, among others for charities such as the American Heart Association and the Cancer Society.
